This is not a HD camera. This is a very basic video message recorder written memo replacement that has a ton of fun possible applications.

It's easy to use, even our toddler has figured out how to record and playback messages (have to keep it up high or he never stops).

I often record a message before picking my older kids up and when they come home they play it. My twins nine use it in their 'war' games to record a message and then they toss it to the other 'side'.

It is durable, comes with a attachable magnetic backing and a wrist strap. Takes regular batteries and even with all the use it has received, we haven't had to replace them to date.

I no longer need to scrounge around for a pen and paper or hear that no one saw my note because I record my message and place the Native Union Play on the fridge and everyone checks to see if the light is blinking when they get home.

This simple, little camera/player brings a lot of laughter to our family.

The screen is 2.4"; it's lightweight and adheres via magnet to your fridge; there's also a sticky pad one can use for non-metallic surfaces. With three simple buttons, play/record/delete, it's usable right away as soon as one places in the three AAA's.

It counts down on the screen a few seconds to record and, as stated, it video records up to three minutes(I guess three's the magic number here!). It lists in the short instruction book 4.5 hours of play time and 6 hours of recording time per battery life, and it automatically goes to the sleep position, quickly, when not in use. A tiny light flashes when there's a message ready. One can playback, record, erase as desired. It allows one to set the date and time.

My wife likes it because there's no computer or power source to figure out. It's plain and simple. The kids absolutely love it because they can see themselves as they record, and they just laugh themselves silly over all the ridiculous messages they're leaving. Only negative is you can't really save the favorites forever or to another medium. The image is not super sharp, but it's ok for the pixels provided. Leave it out in a well lit area.

Besides sticking it in a prominent place, a strap is incuded so one can carry it around. It's fun to leave messages for each other and to see them when we get home even if the others are already home.

This video message device was so easy to use! I used it within a couple of minutes of taking it out of the box. There are three buttons for taping, playing, etc. and it needs 3 AAA batteries. This has been solidly affixed to our refrigerator door for over three weeks now which means it holds up to constant door slams and rough teenagers. It comes with a magnetized mounting pad that sticks to a wall or refrigerator, so the surface does not have to be metal. There is a wrist-strap included, so the device can just be pulled off like a normal magnet and tucked in one's pocket or purse if one leaves the house with it. The screen is just the right size - a little bigger than that of a digital camera. It's so handy to leave messages for my kids when they get home after school.
